FOR EVERYONE WHO STILL WAS NOT BANNED FOR BEING UNDERAGE

An advise for everyone who was not banned for “being underage”:

Submit a request to update your age, and attach a selfie with your passport and a paper with your username and email written. It should prevent you for being banned for being underage. It looks like discord bans everyone who was reported as being underage.

UPD: i had to add: NEVER MAKE A JOKE ABOUT YOUR AGE IS LOWER THAN 13 (or whatever is minimal age for your country).

    I've done that, 9 days of pure silence from their end. Ticket's still open and I don't expect them to look at it.

    but is it safe? im still a child but im over the age required and im not really comfortable sending that to them. Can i blur out everything on my passport except birthday and face? also it sounds kinda illegal having children sending pictures of themself to discord support but what other way do you confirm.

    Justinasst26 i dont think it is a problem. Well, wherever you send a picture you can never be sure whether it is safe.. About the photo, i think you can only blur passport ID number. It doesn't seem there's other way to confirm your age. But no, its not illegal indeed.

    Did you submit an appeal and have it answered within a day or something? Because I did this 20 days ago and still no response

    ImEvo™ Yes, i submitted an appeal for being banned for allegedly being underage. I didn't know the real reason so i didn't attach anything and just asked to reconsider the ban and asked for the exact reason of the ban. Fortunately, they answered in 4 days. Then, in a few hours i attached the photo and then they just missed in action lol. Although for now I'm waiting totally for 9 days what is less than many of them but it is really frustrating. I'm a one of the senior moderators on the 260k server. I can't understand how do they accept being so irresponsible for unban appeals when account are scheduled to be deleted in 30 days after a ban… Hope we all can get our accounts back, but i already saw many of those who lost their accounts forever just because the discord support is the worst.

    You can still get your account disabled even though you already verified your age, happened to me.

    been doing this and my tickets just get closed my that nelly bot. this is dumb shit. i want my account back. i am of age.

    Same got banned for a false report « for being underage » which I’m not and even by ending the selfie + the ID card and the discord username they closed my ticket 2 hours after opening it and no answer
