Why did you patch the revert-mobile-UI exploit?
The exploit was like a win-win for all parties. You were able to force almost everyone into the shitty UI, and you could act like it's the next big thing so the dumb shareholders think you're a great company. And meanwhile the people who are most likely to complain will be able to work around it using the exploit, so there's less angry feedback and less dissatisfaction with discord.
But now look what you have done. They can't work around it anymore. The shareholders won't know about this, this won't make them more happy. Meanwhile, the people who hate the mobile UI the most will be forced to use it. They will hate using mobile discord, and hate you as a company for your shitty greedy anticonsumer practices. What did you gain from doing this? This was a stupid decision.
Just silently make the exploit work again please. Or even better, but this is just wishful thinking: quit putting shareholders over the customers, or at least find solutions that both shareholders and customers enjoy. At least give some consideration to us. People do not want to use the new mobile UI. You saw all the feedback, or at least you got the general idea. It's not good, it's against all our needs with no advantages. Next time please find a solution to please/impress the shareholders that does not force garbage down our throats.

I second all of this.
As I have suggested after every update for the past 5 years, just add a freaking toggle to be able to disable pointless new stuff so that people can decide what kind of experience they want.

Just find somehting new to use and ditch discord they dont care they don't deserve anyone to actually use their stuff any more.

They don't want the old mobile UI to be used, as a forced transition.
