Underage ban - waiting time
Hi I created this post to share my experience with you.
I created a ticket exactly on June 10. Today marks the 17th day of waiting for a response from discord. I made only ONE ticket that is active. Today's day there was new activity in the ticket, someone seems to have noticed it. I have a question for people who have been unblocked .Does the activity on the ticket suggest that it has been noticed and the problem will be solved soon? Has the system / bot noticed the ticket or just checked it because unfortunately it is not assigned to any person. Am I like others doomed to wait 30 days for anything to happen in this situation. The account is really important to me, it is not as others write - although I do not want to judge. In my case it is - I have many people on it who have sadly passed away from this world and conversations, photos and interaction are especially important to me. I wouldn't want to lose that because it will be really the last thing that connected me to them and was within my reach. It's like losing literally memories irrevocably. I don't feel heartbroken just depressed about it all really. Every day I lose hope, but also gain because I see that people are getting help.
Not to mention that I own many projects and active servers through which I have many financial benefits.
Really if someone from support is reading this I beg you on my knees to help me.

I got hit with the child safety ban yesterday and the only actual response was to refile my request cuz it's in the wrong category. As for now, the activity occasionally updates, but they're marked as “solved” for some reason

It took them ~20 days to reply to my ticket. But they asked for a clearer image of proof, and then marked it as solved.

While that's encouraging, do you think that they'll accept an old ID? Mines been expired for around an year, now0 -
CallOfHaloOpsField did you ever regain access to your account? i only have one open ticket and all the others are automatically closed. its been only 3 days and i already feel hopeless, i just need to know if it worked for you

Abduayad2011 I have 2 days until my account is deleted, I have not received a response on my latest ticket.
My advice to you is that you MUST ensure any proof you send is CRYSTAL CLEAR and follows every step they gave you.
Avoid opening more than one ticket at any given time. If your newest ticket is marked as solved, reply to it stating that your issue has not been resolved.
Do not spam replies either.

It hasnt told me my account was gonna be deleted but instead showed my account standing and said my account would be disabled until june 25th 2026 should i be concerned that they havent said anything about deletion or what?

I heard from someone else that as long as you have an ticket open, your account should be fine until it's processed. But…I'm not entirely sure what's going on with them

Abduayad2011 If it relates to underage, regardless of when the suspension will apparently expire.. you have the ~30 day period before deletion
(I say approximately because it seems to slightly vary sometimes. Some people have their deletion slightly early, and some have it late.)
It seems they don't really send emails warning you of deletion.

Apparently they can freeze the deletion process to give you more time.
But that is completely up to them.

Abduayad2011 They have said nothing outside of their scripted replies, and I received no email regarding time of deletion.

CallOfHaloOpsField it isnt legal to delete someones data like that without their knowledge or consent. ive seen people get emails about thir account deletions so theres no way we get deleted i mean that would suck horribly

Tickets about things that are more important? Nearly a month.
As long as YOU reply to them with exactly what they ask for, you still have a high chance of getting your account back.0 -
I'm still confused as to why is this happening to an lot of people, though. I get it, it's driven by AI. But could they at least made sure that it actually worked?

CallOfHaloOpsField im just really stressed because what if they just dont respond and delete my account
the only ticket i have opened is not formatted in the way they told me to, i have multiple pictures on there containing my id face and username crystal clear, but i didnt choose the option of age update request.
when i try making a new ticket correctly to try to have a better chance, they just ignore it and mark it as solved in the span of 4 minutes to an hour

If it were about an appeal, and you have explained the situation to them correclty, You'll be fine.

According to what I have read, Discord is legally forced to ban accounts that are POSSIBLY underage regardless of context.

in the same situation and its been 2 days no response. feeling hopeful with seeing a bunch of ppl getting them back. if anyone has any positive updates pls lmk i could use any sort of positive encouragement before going insane. cannot lose my account no matter what

Update:
They paused the deletion timer without me asking. It took 14 days to get a reply on my newest ticket.I now have my account back.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it's an deliberate culling on their part

Thereclaimer Yeah I had to send them a very clear image of my ID and face with my username on a bit of paper.
The image I sent on my newest ticket wasn't good enough, so I sent another and got replied to within ~2 hours with my account being unlocked
