How Well Does Replying Work?
Here I'd like to both provide information and ask on the practice of replying to your own tickets.
Long story short I was hacked with the “I accidentally reported you" scam 3 months ago and Discord Support bots at the moment have basically been telling me “Screw you”.
Now back in the first week I was hacked, I made a support ticket and I made the rookie mistake of replying back with “I think (X) happened”, “Please help I can't login”, “Please please please” and funnily enough looking back on this “mistake”, it is the only time I ever got the attention of Discord support. However what stopped me from getting help was that I accidentally made a new account with the email and didn't delete it before then which, y'know, sucked.
I read the forums quite often and the one big piece of advice I see is “Don't reply to your tickets, you get pushed back down". Well I can make all the tickets I want, how about I try replying with some extra information? Just recently with a ticket I made a little over a day ago, with no bot response, I made a replying going over what I couldn't do like not being able to reset my email myself when I saw my ticket was updated a few hours ago with no response.
What about you guys? I do remember one person replying to a bot-solved ticket and getting the magic email. Have any of you gotten through with this strategy?

I'll write in here if I get any update on that ticket.

So far the trick hasn't done anything for me, and I'm trying to get my account back because it was falsely banned because their AI thought an image I sent broke TOS.

Yeah I ran into the same thing, it doesn't work. I just got lucky.
