Layer over gifs

I have mental vision issues - my brain has trouble making out what exactly I am seeing, so i mostly go by memory of where things are and see if the colours are about right.

So i find it really annoying that you people keep deciding to add the most unnecessary UI changes and not have them be optional!

I am suggesting to remove the weird layer that now appears when hovering over a gif in the selection

    I agree with this, there is no benefit to the color change. All it does is make it harder to see the gifs.
