Let me turn off activity history, NOT the whole status.

I want my friends to see what game I'm playing. I do not want random people in whatever servers I'm in, tracking every detected game, how long I've been playing them, how many days I marathoned them, etc. Apparently, I can't disable this without hiding my status entirely. In my opinion, while a single activity status is nothing more than a conversation piece, this feels like spyware.
