More status options than "Playing"

What I think would be cool is if we would be able to set our status to other things than just "playing *game*". So what I would like to see added is that when choosing your status (Online, Inactive, Do not disturb), there would be a drop down menu where you can choose things like "Cooking *food*, Watching *movie*, Having a *activity*. If no game is being played the choosen status would show instead of "playing game". Here are some ideas that could be featured: Cooking "pancakes" Watching "Rouge One" Having a "party" At "lunchbreak" Working with "After Effects" Creating "games" Looking to play "Battlefield 1" This is what it could look like: http://imgur.com/a/0iSgh

    i got this feature a momment ago on my own server, but when i look at the other server it has no same feature like this
    basically, you can change your status to whatever you want, wich is sooo cool
    i don't know, maybe they just randomly add it to test at random server
    but i hope in the future this feature will be implemented at any server

    I saw it on the Cubing and Talking server, but it doesnt appear on other servers and group chats

    im in 2 servers with custom status, but only in one it works, you get the little icon next to your name.

    I also see this one my main server that I created years ago, but none of the others I'm a part of or own.  I'm guessing this went into alpha/beta for a handful.

     

    I have set my status, both for a duration of time and to "Don't Clear".  The status message window does change after the selected duration of time, so that part seems to work, at least.  The message itself is never displayed on my profile, however.

    It doesn't appear to be available to all servers yet, and, as far as I'm aware, they have not even made any official post about the existence of this feature as of the time of this post.

    Yeah it sounds like it is still experimental, meaning that it could keep disappearing and reappearing for months, although I hope  they fully launch this one soon.

    Just saw this in a server and thought it was cool, so i googled and found this! 

    Here you can hit edit status ^

    Here you can type your own status and choose when its removed (there is one more option below 4hrs called "Today")

    A tiny bit off topic, but another server i made has this..

    Seems like another Very Nice feature, but unfortunately only has a few bots integrated so far, that I dont really use.

    its just randomly given to servers as a test, until it becomes an official feature only a select few (chosen at random) have it

    A server for a large group of friends got it. I seem to be the only one who's noticed. Personally i kinda like it, allows for more jokes and can convey more information on who's active.

    Not sure where else to put this but I think it would be good if statuses would show when users ore offline as well as online - maybe allow an additional toggle as well as the clear time option to say show when offline?

    Suspense, just to clarify when you set the custom status it only displays on the server you are currently on. So removing the features for some roles would not be an issue as the custom status does not display on other servers.

    Lmao, I was like am I the only one who's experiencing this exploit? And I was also like this must be a mistake by them, they accidentally granted me this feature to try out, but meh fortunately found out this.
    Hopes for this feature are high from me.

    That would be a cool thing if my status would be:
    Having a fun: with [something/someone]

    Sometimes "Playing a game: with [something/someone] kind of my thing but nice enough playing with someone or anybody.

    I found the trick! Certain servers are given this. Like with the screenshare thing. Just spamming servers has a chance to get it but this has little use in current servers sadly. GO DEVS though. This is great!

    Also. @taco dude it sadly does not but most likely will when it gets fully released.
