Invite to join current voice channel

We have this button were you can invite a friend to listen to Spotify or to join your current game, but a button that made a similar invite, just for the current voice channel you're in.

So if I were to send this invite to a friend, and they pressed/accepted the invite, they would instantly join the voice channel (If they have permission to do so), and if they're not in the server, they would get the same message as an expired server invite.

    I have this issue with my wife and my dad all the time. They are already both members of my server. But they can't seem to ever find the server, click on it, and join in a timely manner. It would be nice if I could just right-click them, and say "Invite to Current Channel" (or something like that), and they would get a big notification on their screen that they can just click OK and be auto-inserted into the channel.

    This is possible by creating an instant invite on the current voice channel you're in and sending the invite to a friend. However, if somebody isn't in the server it will make them join and join the voice channel.

    Draco, I do know this is an option, but this could be a much quicker and easier way.

    better if who been invited got a calling sound like private call

    just like Skype did

    this feels like a feature that few people think about wanting, but would be very convenient for many people

    i would also like to request this.  got my parents to join discord during lockdown but my mum and dad cannot quite figure out how to join group channels so i would like to be able to invite them in.  i will settle for it to be either in discord or a bot, whichever works.

    How is this still not a thing?!? You should definitely be able to invite someone to your current voice channel! It's so annoying having to message someone to join and then have them respond, try to find the channel, and then join. A simple invite to voice channel need to be a thing
