Popping out specific servers - Feature Concept

I often find myself wasting a lot of time and productivity flipping between various servers when working on things. I have a specific server that is my closest friends, and I want to continue to see what they have to say, but it's very easy to then get sucked up paging through other servers to see what's going on. So my concept for a feature would be as such: The ability to open a specific server in it's own window, while closing the rest of Discord. This is something that could be easily done on stuff like IRC if you wanted to close out the noise, and is one of the few things I feel Discord lacks. Just a concept though, hopefully we could maybe see this one day!

wow this is 4 years old. I was about to submit this idea as well for the same reason and I am happy to see it has been submitted and upvoted.

I am going to upvote and hopefully bump this up to get some more attention hopefully, since the app has changed a lot in 4 years.
