Keep editing a message across channels.

If you're editing a message in one channel and need to read a message in another channel, when you go back to the first channel, you're still editing the message you were originally editing. Currently, you do not, the changes do not get saved and you are no longer editing the message.

    This needs to be a feature, pronto. I often have to edit the messages in my #info channel, and just as often need to go to the #bot-commands channel to get the proper links and commands, only to find out that my five minutes of typing is just gone.

    I'm just flabbergasted that it's been two years and nothing like this has come around.
