Remove permission by adding a role

I'm having some troubles with roles's permissions. By giving a role to a user, we can give him some permissions (like private channels, higher permissions, etc...). But we can't remove a permission to someone by adding him a role, and i think it could be nice to have this functionality.

For example, i'm trying to setup a "Mute" role on a server, but i can't get it to work properly (see the screenshot). I'm trying to remove the permission to send messages to peoples who have the "Muted" role, but it don't work because the "furs" role allow peoples to send messages. And it's odd because the "Muted" role is way higher in the hierarchy than the "furs" role.
