Custom Status for Mobile Users

Pretty self-explanatory. On the desktop version of Discord, users have the ability to make a custom status directly from settings i.e “Playing Minecraft” and I’m not sure why it’s not on the mobile version as well. I would love to see this happen as Mobile users of Discord are quite significantly more limited in terms of what we can do on the application as opposed to the desktop version. This needs to be added because users can send you messages whilst you look like you’re online, but you’re playing something else, and therefore notifications can spam your gameplay screen. It’s just really essential and I really want it to happen. If there’s a reason as to why it cannot be added / won’t be added, please let me know!

Ik for mobile Samsung game launcher is partnerd with Discord so people can see your mobile games. All you have to do is move an app into the folder. So in theory a person can make an app on the Google Play store and have a feature in the app to change the name of it. Or a much simpler solution is that Google Play partners with Discord.

That seems a little self centered. If that were to be a feature than it should be holistic. Not just for iphone users

We do need it! That would be cool, because PC version has so much more features than Mobile, they need to be balanced. :c

It’s very hard to make it on mobile. Although, you cannot use Rich Presence on mobile. It should be added to **Discord Developer Panel** on any mobile device which is using AndroidOS or iOS. 0 -

see, it's more complicated that. The PC version allows you to edit the name of already running programs. It's more difficult for discord to recognize apps open on mobile, and near impossible on iOS. -5
