discord nitro students
Please make a discounted discord nitro for broke students like me. Would be a lot of fun. We have a discord server with my class and I think it would be nice if more people could use the nitro extra's.

@Suspense by that logic there shouldn't be student discounts for anything. Spotify, Apple Music, whatever. And yet so many services have them. So why not Discord?

Hey @Discord_supports, please let there be a discount for students (similar to Spotify, Youtube Premium etc) whereby a method of verification is required to know the ingenuity of the student (either by documents, or ID cards with the graduation date and institution name. Would've been great, keeping in mind that not all of us are working, and this do not have the free will to spend our pocket money ( unless we are related to Gaben !)

I would also like to have a discounted version of Nitro or Nitro Classic, because Discord Nitro would be nice to have, but at the moment, it is too expensive for a student like me. And I think there are a whole lot of people who would consider getting it if there was a student discount! Something like Discord Nitro Classic for 2.50$/month | 2,50€/month would be great.

There are so many students out there who use Discord every day and would love to support Discord but just can't. You could argue that Nitro isn't a necessity but neither is Spotify Premium or Youtube Premium.

Insane that after three years, they still haven't implemented this and instead downgraded Nitro Classic to Basic.

Ok so somehow I have 2 support accounts now.
Doesn't matter.When I made this community post I was already subscribed to nitro just wanted it more open for all.
In recent years discord has been busy with making nitro features only more inaccessible for people.
All while their customer service has been trash since the start and there is no progress.I already canceled my nitro some time ago so I don't really care what happens anymore with a student discount.
Also discord probably still forgot that they even have a community post page. I have seen enough, easy-to-change and important feature suggestions that nothing has been done with.0 -
Just a valid school email and verification, this should be a thing. Adobe, YouTube, Spotify, Duolingo are a few ones I can name that offer discounts to students as long as they're currently enrolled in case of proof requirement.
