[Bug Report] Enable Taskbar Flashing doesn't work without Enable Desktop Notifications on
This set-up isn't working properly on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. The taskbar does not flash.
To fix this bug, either correct the functionality so the task bar will flash when the settings are set to this, or correct the settings panel to not lie to the user.

Still doesn't work and really should be fixed ASAP. Windows is the largest platform for Discord and this is basic functionality. At the very least don't be silent about it, acknowledge the bug, pin it on Windows, whatever, but don't do *this*.

Oh...not working, and I am not the only one! I miss when Discord cared about fixing things. Now it seems all they care about is adding things nobody really wants. Or doting upon discord Nitro or Hyper Squad peeps. Discord! You were meant to be more than this! You were meant to be better!

I have this issue on my work computer but not at home and was able to verify you need to run as an admin for this to work. I don't like the message popups on my work laptop and only wanted flashing taskbar, changing it to launch with admin rights gave me the desired results.
