Make it not say that you are typing when you delete everything in the messaging box
When I delete everything in the messaging box(like if I was going to say something, but then decide not to), make it instantly make it say that I'm not typing(or at least make it a shorter amount of time). I always feel like my friends are waiting for me to say something, but then I don't because I backspaced everything. It's a very simple thing to do that you help out a lot.

Yes, it would be cool, but for now you can just re-enter the dialogue with the person you are communicating with.
Also, I can't be sure that the label about what you type doesn't disappear, check it out with your friends.
