I have a channel that I only want those without a role to see, once a user gets assigned a role that channel becomes irrelevant to them and should be hidden from then on.
Using the new "Server as role" feature you can assume a role to test what it can and cannot see and do. Since you are unable to uncheck @everyone from the Server as Role list, that channel that should be hidden to everyone with a role is always visible. This can definitely be a source of confusion and frustration to anyone trying to test roles and can't figure out why they are still seeing a channel that should be hidden for this role. There should be no reason why you are prevented from unchecking @everyone from the list. As you can see in my scenario there are valid reasons for doing so.
