Email Not Exist
Okay so, I was able to log into my discord account this morning but all of a sudden after somewhile I decide to check up on discord for my school GC and I'm logged out of discord for some reason and I don't recall logging out, I didn't bother to investigate and decide to log back in. And it says "email doesn't exist". I have another account that I don't use that much so I log in into that and ask one of my friends to send the invite to my server and he did. So, I checked up on my main account and it's still there the only problem that the profile picture that I had set on its gone and is set to default, I started to breakdown and cry because my project and server that I worked hard to grow is there. I decided to take the next step which contacts the support team which I did two times, No reply?!?!?! Why??? My school project is there, do you people want me to fail??? I'm not even angry am just upset and the delay of reply I understand there other people who need discord support but its been 3 fricken hours why not even a single check-up??? Please give me a reply and if someone has any idea whats going on please reply i need to get back into account really soon my project is due really soon. My main account is: Kohai#2071, Discord please attend to this matter.

Hello, I found a solution to this problem, this just happened to me cause i tried become a member of a discord server and ill tell you what to do
First: go to your web browser and search up discord. don't go into your desktop discord as for some reason it doesn't work
Second: log into discord and there is a 'Forgot Password' feature so if you forgot your password you can easily reset by your email
Third: you can log back in to your desktop discord and it should work

That happened to me also! A friend gave me a link to download a game, but it logged me out and now it won't log me back in after downloading it and clicking on that game! I tried the 'Forgot Password', but it keeps saying "Email does not exist"! I'M FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW AND I NEED MAJOR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amiyah, I'm in a similar boat. I literally JUST created this account, like, ten minutes ago, and I KNOW I haven't forgotten the email or password for it, but it just won't. Let. Me. In. Maybe it's a glitch on Discord's end?

This might not be the same UI flow that others ran into, since I created my account only today, but just in case it helps ... My problem seemed to be related to the fact that zendesk.com and discord server/desktop do not sync users between them (or are different sets of users) ...
My problem was:
- I used the browser and found myself on zendesk.com and created an account that way. I got an email about verifying my email, which I did.
- I then tried to log in using that account using the desktop Discord (Switch Account). I checked that the exact text of the login and password were the same. I got "Email does not exist".
On a separate try, I went to the desktop Discord and just tried logging out of all my accounts. Only when no users were logged in did I get the option to actually create an account ("Need an account? Register"). I created an account that way, and I was able to log in just fine using those credentials. I registered and logged in using the main Discord desktop login window. Later on, login also worked using the Switcher.

Bro I had a scam report on me by a friend on accident and I talked to the bot he gave me to cancel it but when I changed the email to what it said it logged me out an now I can't get back in. What do I do to help this? Whenever I click forget password it says email does not exist??

The same thing happened to me, i had to talk to this guy in DMs to have my email changed but after all this pulling and shoving my account was locked

Has anybody been able to fix this? I don't know if i was hacked or not that DM I was in the guy needed my freaking bank details via screenshare it felt like a Scammer!

It for sure is a scammer, as for your above comment yea the same kinda happened to me. Discord will not do anything to help retrieve my old account so it is gone. The scammer continues to use it to harass my friends and try to scam them too. I've tried multiple times and discord says they can't do anything. I had to delete my entire paypal since it was connected to the old account and the scammer charged it for a gift nitro. Discord hasn't even refunded me for it.

It looked so genuine thought, I never fell for any other hacker tricks on discord but i was bamboozled in this one i was just very worried and didn't know what to do

Same here, literally same. None of my friends answered in time since I keep to myself mostly. I knew what it was after the email was changed, and he wanted money.

I got my account back a few months ago, though it took a lot of requesting til they added “hacked accounts” in make a request to actually help

Yeah i have tried that, sent a ticket and they said they couldn't do anything. Tried again, same thing
