Memberlist activating and deactivating for roles or anyone to see

i was allowed to configure discord servers for some guilds and communities. we had a lot of problems with different roles and how we implement some things but after a while we realized that we wanted to protect the users of our server for security reasons. so that not everyone can see who joined the server, i see it as necessary to make such an implementation so that not everyone can access the server memberlist or see who is on the server or has joined the server.You have to be protected from harassment, advertisements or other things which can be prevented in my eyes, if not everyone can see who is on the memberlist.

  I wholeheartedly support this feature; there's a couple requests for it (e.g. https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360042718332-We-need-an-option-to-hide-the-member-list-from-certain-roles-to-prevent-spammers-from-mass-PMing-large-servers )
