STOP SHRINKING THE TEXT FIELD TO ADD MORE BUTTONS.

Seriously, this is reaching multiple levels of self-parody now. First we had the smiley button. Then the gifs and gifts buttons. now the stickers button. And three out of four of those things can be tabbed between once you click any one of those buttons anyway! There are members list, pinned messages, and mute buttons in the client too, but you didn't cram those all next to the smileys button. What's next, a button to send personalized birthday cards? Hey, maybe you'd like to move the inbox and 'update available' buttons down to the text field too. Who needs text when you have a button party?!!

Just amalgamate all this new crud into one button, like one of those "three horizontal lines" menu buttons, put all the stuff in different tabs, and have it remember which tab you were last using when you click on it so that way the text field can actually be mostly devoted to text again!

I'd like to double down on this. I said it when they added the gift nitro button, I'll say it again now. They could have put the gift subscription in the proper menu in the settings, stickers and gifs both belong under the emote selector button.

These buttons may seem to take up a negligible amount of space when using discord full screen, but if you push it to the side to keep a view of discord open while playing other games at a reasonable window size, that fraction of the textbar they take up gets dramatically bigger, and if your message takes up more than one line, they continue to take up readable space in the lines below themselves with just empty nothingness where text could have been to make your message easier to read as you're writing it. It's a travesty to shrink the textbar, the most important feature of discord, when everything they're adding to discord could be done without infringing on it.
