Delay for announcement channel updates to your own server

I think there needs to be a feature where you can delay the messages coming into your own server from external announcement channels for a period specified by the user. (for e.g. when following an announcement channel in an outside server, delay it's announcements from coming into my server for 24 hours from the original time of post). This would be a relief for people like me who have a lot of channels for external announcements, because I like not to be bombarded with too many messages at once.

Additionally, I'm not sure if applying slow mode in these channels would have an effect on the bot that posts the messages but this might also help.
