Discord is shit

I saw a Quora thread about a guy who got banned from Discord for no reason. They said that they were invited to a server and they were told to invite more people. Apparently the server had been reported a lot and he got banned because he was associated with it. The reason was “For inciting violence”. And someone said that they got reported for literally no reason other than for trolling. They got banned in less than a week. Discord really doesn’t investigate the problems. They find a report, they ban the reported user. Now I’m starting to question if Discord employees are actually children. If I get banned from Discord, I wouldn’t be surprised because of how many false reports there are.

in conclusion: Discord is shit. Do a better job with reports.

    Not a big fan of discord either or the whole gaming thing. It opens the door for so many problems that destroy people, marriages, and families. My wife plays all the time and has started an affair with one of her guild mates and is destroying a 35 year marriage. She has lost complete touch with reality and noone can get through to her. Just a shame gaming and discord could cause so many problems.

    Hello, discord actually checks everything when someone reports user of discord, checked a lot of time like i sent old messages as report and they knew it was an old message also it was in DM and everything so you are kind of wrong he/she may do other thing and that's why he/she got disabled. also please don't call discord shit because as I'm guessing you don't know how discord support works and things :) discord's employees are very good at this job :) also when he/she was trolling he/she may do something that violates Discord's terms of service.

    i know this thread is 2 years old, but i will tell you something anyway:
    i am waiting for Support to contact me since a Month, after my account get hacked and they are just ghosting me, so please do not tell me how “good” Discord employees are at this job.

    And yes yes yes your opinion could change over those 2 years, but i also though Discord is good enough, before i got hacked and they still do not care to respond to me.
