More granular notification settings

Can we please have more granular settings for notifications and what type we get?

Basically, I'd like to be able to set a server to only show the unread thingy in the server list and not have the taskbar icon giving me the red dot of "there's a thing that warrants your attention" because there are a lot of servers that I wouldn't mind reading/participating in the chat when I'm already focused on discord, but that I simply don't want pulling my attention with the red dot on the taskbar.

I'm sure there are more things that people would want than what I've mentioned above, but the aforementioned is what's relevant to my particular use-case.

    I second this. Personally, I would be happy if the current options of "All Messages / Only Mentions / Nothing" actually applied as expected to the notification dots. In other words, if I have channels set to "Only Mentions", then the taskbar only lights up when I'm mentioned. Simple as that.

    For bonus points, there could be an additional checkbox for pop-up notifications. For example, a channel could be set to "All Messages" so that every message triggers a dot on the channel and lights up the taskbar, but you could still leave the checkbox unchecked to have it work exactly as it does now. Or turn on the option and get full notifications on both desktop and mobile. Win-win.

    But long story short, I shouldn't have to mute the whole server (disabling mobile notifications in the process) just to prevent individual channels from pinging me on the taskbar.
