Being able to mute people

Hello,

I want to have a feature where I am able to prevent specific People from writing for a given amount of Time. I have a big Server and often some people are just not going with our Community Roles and that's why we have to mute them by hand. We created a Role for that but it would be way easier if Discord just offers a feature for that (It should work like the Mute in voice Chat Feature does). In my opinion this would be a great addition to every big Server

    Yes, I can but I want to do it without a Bot. Bots can do very weird things. Or even be down when the Mute should go back off

    You should be able to just give them a specific role that isn't allowed to type in any text chat and remove their other roles that do allow, that should work but for an easier solution, I don't think there is one currently.

    The Problem with that is like I already stated that I maybe forget to remove that role again
