  • Role permissions overlay on other - When you have 2 roles with different permissions one giving access to a channel one blocking access the one who gives access always overlays the other one making it so if you want a mod not be able to see some channels (in order to not have mod abilities on the entire server) they can simply have the most basic member role and have access to that channel and mod there.

    Solution - Make it so the higher role overlays the lower one.

 

  • Only specific role giving - If for example I have a special role for team maker that can give team member, I obviously don't want him to be able to give other roles than it same goes for other role givers I do not want them to give team member.

    Solution - More advanced options for the role managing permissions. having the option that for example "this role can only give those specific roles"

    Role permissions overlay on other: It already does: The order is like this: Server Level @everyone → Server Level Roles → Channel Level @everyone → Channel Level Roles → Channel Level Member-specific settings

    Note that server-level role perms are hierarchical, channel-level ones are additive.

    " if you have multiple roles, you can't remove a permission from a lower role that would remove it from yourself. "

    This restriction could also be abolished by converting the removed role permission to a user-specific permission applied on all the current holders of the combination of those roles.
