Jumping to top or bottom of a text channel

It would be really great if there was a way to jump immediately to either the top or bottom of a server's text channel (similar to the page up/down function, but faster and more "extreme").

This is of particular interest to me because I'm participating in several text-based RPG campaigns. They were "old school" play-by-(forum-)post campaigns which were forced to migrate to Discord after the game publisher in question closed down their community forums. This resulted in several new servers with a lot of important information dumped at the top of different text channels.

Now that we are so many more "posts" deeper into these text channels, it becomes slower and slower to jump to the top to check on items of relevant information.

Hence my request for a quicker way to navigate to the top and bottom. :)

    I just wanted to add: "pinning" information to a channel is indeed one possible solution, but it doesn't work that well if there is a lot of text (or maps/pictures). That's why I'm making this "quality of life" request. :)
