Role specific to channels

Is there a possible way to make roles tagged in only certain channels. Example - Role name is PUBG the tag is enabled to be pinged by anyone. Instead of it being Pinged in all channels is there a possible way to only have it able to be pinged in the specific channel made for it? This saves a lot of headache for discord admins so we don't have to warn members to stop spamming in the wrong channel. It makes people leave the discord because they are getting pinged in the wrong channel. We have 4k members in our discord lets say if one person started to ping even 1 time in the wrong channel people will end up leaving. Please see if its possible. It would totally make a Big Difference and be a positive change!

    an alternative would be to set up automod to block the ping and exempt that channel or channels
