Requesting Change to Custom Status's Timer

Hi! So I change my custom status pretty often (and I'm super, super grateful that the team added it, thank you), but every time I do, the timer will reset to "Today," when what I really want is for it to stay "Don't Clear." Meaning sometimes I'll change my status at around 11:59, forgetting it's set to "Today" again, and suddenly it's midnight! and boom, gone.

I was wondering if it were possible to default the timer to the previously selected setting? At least until more customizations were added (e.g. regularly scheduled statuses).

    I like this idea and would like this being added.

    Although i don't think this would go under API, it would probably go under Other.
