Let us focus at one message at a time instead of showing multiple

Something i miss from the old UI was that if you had your zoom more than 100% You could see fewer messages and they would be very easy to read because there were only 2-3 on them on the screen. And messages used to be more clearly separated from each other, it helped focusing on a single message rather than mixing lines up. With this new update it is the complete opposite making reading very difficult for me. Can you revert this update or bring this as an option in the settings?
