Video Call Personal Camera Display

So I use the pop out player a lot with my gf over Discord. And I've noticed that MY image being forced to be on the screen when I need to shrink her feed is counter-intuitive. Why isn't there an option to hide my own image? I don't need to see my feed, and if I do, she can tell me something is wrong. Or at the very least it should scale my image with the shrinking of her feed in the popout. That way if it HAS to be up, I can at least scale her down to a manageable size for what I'm doing, and not block 1/3 of the of the pop out.
