Twitch Emote Server Integrations for Subscriber Animated Emotes and Bit Tier Emotes!
Emotes and emojis are some folks favorite ways to communicate, especially when it comes to expressing emotion. Twitch and Discord both do an incredible job at featuring emotes and allowing content creators and viewers to use them with ease.
Currently, you can integrate your Twitch Account and Discord Account and sync them together so any emotes you have uploaded to Twitch carry over into Discord for your supporters to use and so you don't have to manually upload your emotes.
This integration feature for Twitch and Discord is incredible but I would love to see it updated to include the brand new Animated Emotes for Subscribers as well as the Bit Tier Emotes that users receive upon cheering emotes to their favorite creators.
I know that this may be difficult to do, especially in the animated emote department since they are tied under Nitro-Subscriptions, but I hope Discord will consider letting this slide and letting content creators and supporters use those specified animated emotes with ease. As well as letting Bit Cheerers use their justly rewarded bit tier emotes.
Please consider give us these updates to the Twitch and Discord Integration system. I know myself and many others would greatly appreciate these features being added to our servers.

Would be a different but cool thing to add.

this feature would be great! at the very least, it should work for Discord Nitro users

As someone that sees little value in Nitro but huge value in supporting the streamers that have made Discord such a prominent platform, it certainly feels overdue to update the integration to support the advancement in emotes on Twitch. It's understandable that locking animated emotes behind Nitro is the only real way it has everyday value for subscribers, but at the same time, not supporting the handful of animated emotes per streamer for all of their subscribers with their Twitch accounts attached to use feels a bit like a betrayal of the relationship that brought Discord such vast growth. This isn't even mentioning the bit emotes that should just be a given considering those can't even be animated.
This is simply an ask to continue honoring what has been a very beneficial relationship in all ways for Discord.

I can't believe it's 2024 and this still doesn't work! This is embarassing Discord!

I created an official support ticket to bring this to their attention yesterday. It appears to have been closed as “solved” with no response and no change to emotes.
Very disappointing
