Feature request - Visual muting of specific users, which is a separate function from blocking.

Currently, the only way to protect yourself from a particular user's chats, posts, and DMs is to block them.

However, if you block a user because of an unpleasant chat or harassment, it is easy to determine whether or not you have blocked them, and the person who blocked you will be at a disadvantage (e.g., trouble due to being noticed).

Therefore, I would like to have a function to simply keep the other person out of sight, separate from blocking.

We will call it mute for now.
When you mute a specific user.

1. The other person has no way to judge you.
You will not be able to see what they have to say.
This function is similar to the current block.

2. Reactions are possible.
However, it will be the same as the current block, and it will say that (the unmuted person) and X other people (the number of muted people) are reacting.

3. Mentions are possible.
You cannot see the content at first, but you can see that you are being mentored. You can only check the content manually when you are mailed a message. Something like the notation of the current block function (e.g. one muted message)

4, Do not limit DM (may need to consider).
Because there are excuses, such as "I have the ability to reject users who are not my friends.
I know I'm getting DMs, but I basically have to check the contents manually, etc.

5, It will not be an inconvenience in VC.
There are no factors such as muted users not being able to hear the sound of muted users.

In other words, mute only makes the other person's text chat invisible, but other than that, it is the same as normal.
It is simply a way to visually mute someone.

The current block function is easily exposed to the other party.
The block function was originally supposed to be for keeping your distance.
I think it could become a problem in the community if the other person knows about it.

There's a lot of people out there, and I'm sure these features will come in handy in community life!

    I'd really like this feature. Something between a block and being forced to read their messages. My initial idea was something like a Spoiler Tag over specific people's messages that only you can see, but your suggestions expand it in good ways. Eitherway, there are people who's messages you just don't want to see but if you're in a mutual server, have mutual friends, etc. it can be difficult to avoid or block them entirely. Your ideas would solve this!
