can't send emoji even i have nitro

man i have nitro. but when i send an emoji, its like ":hi:" not emoji shows up, just ":hi:" i redownload discord and i rejoin that server but still not work i need help

  its either the server deleted the emoji or its a bug, this happened to me a couple weeks ago
