Mobile Push-To-Talk button memory

I have a big problem with the PTT for mobile. You have a narrow button that doesn't stay pushed if your thumb goes outside the button. My thumb moves outside the button's collision box and unpresses it while I'm talking. It would be great if the button just stay pressed as long as my finger's still touching the screen, wherever it moves off to.
