Make sure to use a non proof of stake coin. Like ada, dot, algo, flow, sol etc... instead of an electricity glutton like bitcoin or eth. And if you insist on eth use it via mkr to cut down significantly on energy usage. Thanks!

    All crypto is bad crypto. None of it should be on Discord.

    I appreciate your effort to ethically use crypto, but I don't know that discord's intent is to be ethical here. Crypto when advertised like this is often about the buzz it creates and bringing in people with Bitcoin money. Though I'm hoping they'll back out, if they were trying to be environmentally friendly they wouldn't have brought it up at all. 

    What use does discord really have for implementing crypto, if you rlly think about it. They're a communication website, no different from skype in all actuality. This isn't their area, and yet they're venturing there anyway.

    @quail. Oh yeah I don't think that's their intent at all but if they use a better crypto it'll still make them money and the reason behind using the better product won't matter as much.
