NFTs are awful for the environment and artists alike.

Artists and creatives are getting their work stolen and sold for an exorbitant amount of money to people who do not even value the art, but see it as an investment. Little do they know their investment will decrease by at least 90% by the time they even think of reselling it. NFTs are a bubble that will pop, and has popped for many already.

They are deletable .json files often completely formed of stolen assets and art. Minting blocks on the Etherium blockchain costed as much electricity as the entire country of Iceland in 2019, and that was before NFTs were introduced as a new pyramid scheme to lose money to. Now each NFT adds to the warehouses full of computers and graphics card running as hard as they're physically able 24/7. The environment is already destroyed, and we're adding to it just so people can LOSE MONEY and STEAL the work of others.

I have cancelled my Nitro and will not ever renew it unless Discord rethinks its stance on NFTs because they are harmful not only to creatives but GLOBAL climate change.
