Better Uninstall Wizard for Troubleshooting
Sadly bugs happen with any application and empowering the user to try troubleshooting themselves helps both the support team and the Discord community.
The Discord community would greatly benefit from having an easy 'start from clean' option, which would be achievable from having an uninstall wizard that gives the user the option of scrubbing all Discord related files off of your system.
By adding this wizard, this helps diagnose what is causing your bug, whether it'd be a corrupted update, some faulty config files not immediately identifiable, or if the bug has nothing to do with the application itself.
~~NOTE~~
This is the end of the suggestion and is what prompted me to make this suggestion so if you aren't here for fixes to your issue feel free to stop reading.
Discord would not forward or receive the microphone input effectively muting yourself. However, the microphone was still seen by discord and selectable as an input device.
Checking that the microphone was not the fault was done by using a different recording software and listening back which did indicate that the issue was not on the microphone / Windows side.
Uninstalling Discord using the current uninstall wizard; Windows' "programs and features" app, rebooting, and reinstalling the app did not fix the issue.
The Fix:
Manually scrubbing all traces of Discord off of the pc, rebooting, and then Installing does seem to fixed issue and I have been using the app for 3 days after this fix without any noticeable issues.
