Events Improvements Proposal

I really enjoy the events feature in its current iteration but it could be more robust.

The ability to set up recurring events.
Ability to couple events with a thread so its highlighted at the top of the chat.


And finally, the ability to set up date to date events - this gives some real room to build community towards a specific goal.

It can be utilized for community building, charitable acts, challenge runs etc.

In example :

• a 90 day event scheduled in support of a charity.
• 30 day event where people play one game and earn points against rival factions. (Think MMORPG or Team based games)
• 7 day tournament circuits.

The utility would be fantastic and it could be used both to keep individual users engaged and position communities to do a lot of good.
