Newest Android Update Sucks

Where to start... the previous major update was fine. It didn't need much fixing (aside from a few tweaks to the long press menus when using device in landscape, which were fixed in the newest update, for example), but everything looks and feels worse. I don't need to always see all of my servers/server channels or DMs, I liked having the whole chat room take up the entire screen. I know this was probably to make it more like desktop, but sometimes, things being different for mobile is good. With the server channel buttons being smaller, I find myself constantly hitting buttons I don't mean to hit. I also dislike the removal of the App Behavior menu; that menu allowed me to change how I send my messages using a bluetooth keyboard (originally either Shift + Enter or Enter), where now I'm forced to use the new shortcut of Ctrl + Enter or tap the screen (both very annoying). Please, keep the few good things from this update, but the previous version was overall way better than this.

    Update: The update is worse than I thought! I can't use discord at all in split screen view on landscape, as either the channel or user panel is constantly in the way. If I could uninstall this update, I would.

    Technically you could install the older version of discord from an .apk file, then you'd have the old version back (although of course it's only a matter of time before new features make the old version feel very outdated).

    More additions? You know it! Mouse buttons for bluetooth mice are backwards. I have my mouse set for left mouse button to be primary, and the app thinks my right mouse button is the primary. Yes, this is also the case when right is set as primary, it thinks left is primary. Fix your app, discord. :(

    Oh no you'll never guess the app still sucks. Anyways I shouldn't have to click twice on a channel to open it.

    Update as of 9/1 has seen some MINOR improvement, such as better loading, but the lack of App Behaviors options is still very frustrating. Still can't use discord in split screen view on Samsung tablets, with discord taking up only 1/4 of the screen. Rating on the Google Play Store still remains 1 star. Bring back the old! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

    I have no idea how that unoptimized React Native garbage made it past quality checks, it's horrible!

    The performance of the app went from good to unusable, it's not acceptable.
    Everything lags to the point that inputs are skipped; this app is now TRASH.

    I used this tutorial on how to revert back to the old native android style app, and I'm sticking to it!
