New Android update breaks Android Auto

Due to the garbage latest app update, not only were all notification settings reset, but now anything the app deems a "conversation" dings through on Android Auto like a text message. All conversations are silent and minimized on my phone but still send audible notifications when connected to my car.

    The latest update to React Native has destroyed the app's performance;
    untested garbage indeed! So many of us are having trouble with this.

    It basically killed what used to be a perfectly smooth app, this unbelievable.

    I'm pretty sure you can go into Android Auto's settings and just remove the app from the Android Auto launcher and they will stop...

    Edit: Nope they still come in :(
