Gallery View in Forum Channels should inset images inside a buffer frame instead of cropping them.
Trying to compare using gallery view in a forum channel vs. a just a normal text channel for image sharing in a server, and the gallery is great by adding categorization and showing more images in the same space. But, the gallery tiles crop the images so sometimes a lot of the image contents are lost until you open the thread, making the whole channel a much more encumbered experience compared to a text channel. If the images were just shrunk to fit in the tile frame instead, gallery would be perfect for image sharing channels.
