So, I'm part of a few servers where their game or web servers go down quite a bit, but the masses just come in with the relentless "I can't login." Well no, and if you scrolled up, you'd see neither can the other 50,000 people. SOLUTION? a scrolling news Banner and the top of the chat! It's so easy. When servers are down just have a banner at the top of the chat that moderators can tell EVERYONE "hey, we're down, you don't need to message us, or repeat the same thing that everyone else has said for the last 5 minutes"

  This would make a great Community feature. Maybe you could link your community Events with the Newsbar?
