When will we be able to delete the entire chat and just not close it?

How come after all this years we still don't have a option to delete the entire dm chat (like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc) and just not close it? Or at least make it if we close it, it deletes the entire message history, so if you open the chat again it will be clean with no messages. Should have been added since the start like any other app. Would love to see this being implemented pretty soon

  A button to delete more than one message or clear the chat would be great!
