says i dont have input or output devices even though my headphones are plugged in

i am in call with one of my friends and for some reason i cant unmute on my end so i go to the voice and video settings to fix it and it says that i have no devices even though my headphones are plugged in and it says i didnt give discord access to my mic yet i have HOW DO I FIX THIS
