Messages getting deleted when posting large file sizes.

When I was trying to post a large paragraph including a picture, I didn't realize that the picture was over the size limit. But, instead of letting me include a different picture with the same text, the app instead deleted my entire paragraph, to which I have yet to save. It's such a waste of time and it's very annoying when you're trying to send something important. Maybe you guys should fix this? This is on mobile btw.
