New typing animations are causing lag

I think these little character animations that appear in your keyboard window on mobile are bogging down the application. I have a Samsung S6 and I have never seen my typing lag in a chat application before. Please get rid of whatever this process is as it feels like it is running something everytime I type a new character and its not a good user experience.
