People who aren't able to talk in dms (e.g. due to dms being friend-only, being blocked, etc) shouldn't be able to pin messages or edit them either.
I set my settings to where only friends could dm me instead of anyone in a server. Problem is, if someone not able to dm me directly decides to edit a message of theirs and then pin it, then I not only get the notification for the ping, but also they completely bypassed not being able to use the dm (sorta).
Now, while them editing their message isn't a big deal since you probably even see it, them being able to PIN and NOTIFY you to go back to the dm is (what I assume) a huge oversight in the blocking department. It allows someone who I specifically don't like to be able to annoy me, and even still use our dms with the edit message perms.
This doesn't feel like an unreasonable change to make, imo. If you're blocked, what's the point in pinning or editing messages aside to annoy or "contact" the other person?
