There should be a way to suppress @everyone and @here in specific channels

I'm tired of getting spammed with notifications from channels I have no interest in, when I have muted the channel and selected none for notifications.  This is easily the worst part of Discord's UX in my experience, it is frustrating in nearly every large server.
