Place Images Above Text for Personalization and Community Branding
Dear Discord Team,
I'd like to propose the implementation of "Displaying Images Above Text" feature for messages. Currently, when users send messages containing both text and images, the images are being displayed below the text. While this is functional, there are several compelling reasons to consider displaying images above text:
Improved Visual Organization: Displaying images above text would create a more organized and aesthetically pleasing layout, making it easier for users to interpret and engage with the content.
Enhanced Context: In discussions or information-sharing, images often serve as visual aids or primary content. Positioning them above text would provide better context and allow users to immediately focus on the image's content before reading the accompanying text.
Personalization: Allowing users to choose between placing the image above the text our below the text would enhance personalization. Users could select the arrangement that best suits their communication style and preferences.
I understand that any feature suggestion requires thorough consideration, but I genuinely believe that introducing a "Place Images Above Text" option for personalization and community branding would greatly benefit Discord's messaging experience. It would not only enhance the visual aspect of messages but also empower users and server administrators to tailor their Discord experience to suit their unique communication style and branding requirements.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestion. I look forward to see this feature added to Discord in the future.
Cheers,
Ress
