New UI PERFORMANCE is terrible (Pixel 7)

Since the update the app consistently takes >2 SECONDS to open, and 300-900 ms to switch between most convos. I already have my UI animations on my phone set to faster, fwiw.

This is making me crazy. Uploaded logs to help.
