My account is compromised and its only my email that is changed. Is there any way for me to have my account recovered?
I fell for one of those Steam account takeover scams for Discord where a hacked account is used to convince you that you were falsely reported on Discord, and then the hacked account leads you to a Mike Bang impersonator who pretends like he will remove you from some sort of blacklist for account termination. I was gullible and fell for the scam from the Mike Bang impersonator. Fortunately for me, I changed my password immediately after detecting it was a scam and then I created a support ticket asking them what I should do for my personal account. Has anybody had their hacked accounts recovered, if so please share your experiences.

change your password, log out of any other account in settings, setup 2FA (two factor authentication)
